Minister Stefanović visits Sergeant First Class and his eight-member family
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, visited today Sergeant First Class Milija Andrić and his wife who live with their six children in the village of Gugalj near Požega.
Minister Stefanović thanked Sergeant First Class Andrić for doing his job in the military responsibly and for nurturing the culture of a good Serbian male head of the family. He also thanked him for being a good soldier, a brave man and a good role-model for his children.
Sergeant First Class Andrić is raising his six young children - the eldest daughter Marija and sons Aleksandar, Lazar, Dušan, Uroš and Stefan- in the spirit of Serbian tradition.
During his visit to the Andrić family, Minister Stefanović emphasized that children were our greatest treasure and that “everything we do today, we do for the sake of their safe future“.
Sergeant First Class Milija Andrić works in Požega as the 22nd Infantry Battalion’s Second Squad leader, Second Army Brigade.
