Minister Stefanović meets with Czech Ambassador Kuchta
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Belgrade, Mr Tomáš Kuchta.
Minister Stefanović emphasized the role and importance of bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Czech Republic. He noted that Serbia’s priority is to join the European Union, which is another reason for maintaining good relations with foreign partners and improving them further.
Ambassador Kuchta congratulated Minister Stefanović on his appointment as Minister of Defence and wished him success in his future endeavours. He pointed out the Czech Republic’s respect and support for Serbia’s interests in cooperation with the European Union, as a historically, politically and economically significant foreign partner. The Ambassador assessed that the cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic was good and expressed hope and belief that its development in key areas would be possible in the coming period, primarily in the field of military-economic and military-technical cooperation.
