Minister Stefanović meets with Ambassador of Kazakhstan Syzdykbekov



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Serbia, Gabit Syzdykbekov today.
During the meeting, Minister Stefanović emphasized Serbia’s commitment to maintaining its status of neutrality. Serbia’s strategic goal, the Minister of Defence added, is to strengthen and modernize the Serbian Armed Forces, and the Republic of Serbia wants stability in the region as the basis for further advancement and development.

Ambassador Syzdykbekov congratulated Minister Stefanović on his appointment and wished him success in his new position. He conveyed Kazakhstan’s strong support to the preservation of Serbia’s territorial integrity, emphasizing that he,as the first Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Belgrade, will put maximum effort into further development of overall relations between the two friendly countries.
