Minister of Defence extends congratulations on Religious Service Day
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has extended congratulations to members of the Religious Service on the Day of their Service - 12 November.
In his congratulatory message, Minister Stefanović stresses that on 12 November 1839, performing religious services in the Army was defined for the first time by adopting the Military Law in the Army of the Principality of Serbia, and in 2007, Military Service was organized and established in the Serbian Armed Forces by adopting the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces.
“By carrying out defined missions and tasks, you strengthen spiritual and moral values of the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, making enormous contribution to the development and enhancement of the Serbian Armed Forces’ operational capabilities”, Minister Stefanović emphasizes in his congratulatory message, expressing hope that they will continue to perform the assigned tasks successfully in the future.
