Military Academy marks First World War Armistice Day
A solemn academy was held at the Military Academy to mark the First World War Armistice Day.
A theatrical-musical performance delivered by participants in the Military Academy’s reserve officers course consisted of historical fragments, vocal and musical performances and orations which brought to life the proud history of the Serbian army in the Great War.The First World War Armistice Day has been celebrated as a national holiday in Serbia since 2012, in memory of 11 November 1918, when the Entente Powers signed a truce with Germany thus ending the First World War.
