Minister Stefanović meets with French Ambassador Falconi



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met with the Ambassador of France, Jean-Louis Falconi, today.
Minister Stefanović thanked the Ambassador for the assistance in providing education and training to the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and stressed the significance of the military technical and military economic cooperation in modernizing and equipping the Serbian Armed Forces. He also stressed the importance of joint participation in multinational operations.  

Ambassador Falconi congratulated Minister Stefanović on being elected as Minister of Defence and wished him success in his new role. He pointed out that the cooperation so far between the Republic of Serbia and the French Republic in the field of defence has been intensive and that there is room for its further improvement in the future. He emphasized that the French side deeply appreciates Serbia's contribution to multinational operations, especially the European Union missions.
