Minister Vulin: It was an honour
I would like to thank all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces for years of joint service to the armed forces, the state and the people. I am grateful to each one of you and especially to the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić for the opportunity to participate in the renewal and strengthening of our armed forces. Serbian history is the history of fighting for freedom, and there is no freedom for Serbia without strong armed forces, free from foreigners' orders and decisions.
We have fought for Serbia’s right to make its own decisions on the armed forces; we have fought for the right to take care of Republika Srpska and all Serbs, wherever they live. We have paid tribute to our wartime commanders, and refused to renounce our heroes and be ashamed of them. Thanks to your persistence and stubbornness, thanks to the personal commitment of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, after the end of my term, the armed forces, which I proudly greet, are stronger, more equipped and more satisfied than they were. After years of neglect, years of growth and renewal came that made the state and the people proud.
It was an honour.
