Minister Vulin: Good results of the Serbian Defence Industry in equipping Serbian Armed Forces
The Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin met today with directors of the companies belonging to the Serbian Defence Industry Group.
The meeting summed up the results of many years of work on increasing the capabilities of the Serbian Defence Industry and its technological advancement, as well as its ability to equip the Serbian Armed Forces with the most modern weapons.
Minister Vulin thanked the directors of the SDI Group companies for successful cooperation and pointed out the results and great success that this industry has achieved in previous years.Minister Vulin particularly highlighted the project launched by the Ministry of Defence of the procurement of weapons manufactured by the Serbian Defence Industry.
Minister Vulin pointed out that each of the companies of the Serbian Defence Industry Group has serious tasks within the equipping project, adding that we had the opportunity to see the results of that work recently, at the exercise “Joint Action 2020”.
The Minister wished the representatives of the defence industry successful work in the coming period and expressed hope that they will keep the achieved pace of development and continue designing new products for the benefits of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence.
On behalf of the Sector for Material Resources and the SDI Group companies, Assistant Minister Nenad Miloradović, PhD, presented Minister Vulin with an appropriate gift.
