Minister Vulin: If there were elections for the president of all Serbs - Vučić would win
- What kind of relations are those that can be damaged by a single statement? Relations are not damaged or improved that way. Izetbegović's desire to decide who will be our guests in Belgrade is fine and it does not damage relations, the fact that Komšić makes an anti-Serbian statement every day where, as a rule, he says that Serbs are fascists and talks about some Chetniks, that is also fine, no hard feelings. Rama's statement that they will "erase the borders between Kosovo and Albania, that the port of Durres will be Kosovo’s" is also fine, no hard feelings there, either. The fact that Edi Rama sends kisses to Milo Đukanović under the flag of "Greater Albania" and tells the Shiptars to vote for Milo – that is okay, too. And when we, Serbs, speak out, when we say something, that is a problem - the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, said on the programme "Focus" on B92 TV, when asked to comment on the opinions that his statements damage relations in the region.
- When was the President of Serbia not the President of all Serbs? There used to be cowards among the Serbian leaders who were afraid to say it and accept it, but now there is a man who is brave, who can accept it, even though he doesn't say it - Minister Vulin emphasized, adding that, "if there were ‘all-Serbian’ elections and if we voted for the president of all Serbs - Vučić would win, certainly not Lutovac or Đilas," he said, adding that "Aleksandar Vučić is the political president of all Serbs."
According to Minister Vulin, it is time Serbs became one political nation.
- How can everyone discuss and agree on key issues, from Shiptars to Croats, and we are not allowed to do that? And where should we discuss key issues, if not in Belgrade? My family originates from the mountain of Manjača, which is 40 kilometres from Banja Luka and I love Banja Luka, but Belgrade is our only beloved capital - said Minister Vulin, emphasizing that Belgrade is the one that should bear the burden of making decisions and that should protect all Serbs.
