Colonel Slaviša Golubović awarded “Golden Knight 2020“ for “The Fall of the Night Falcon”
Colonel Slaviša Golubović is the winner of a prestigious international award “Golden Knight 2020” – a Golden Diploma in the category of the History of Slavic Peoples, for the book “The Fall of the Night Falcon” which was translated into Russian. He received this award at the 11th International Literary Forum "Golden Knight" which was held in Moscow this year. “The Fall of the Night Falcon” was published by the Media Centre “Odbrana” in 2016 and it has had two editions so far. The Russian translation of the book was published by the publishing house “Vizantija” from Belgrade, and the editor was historian Dejan Ristić.
The International Literary Forum “Golden Knight” is held as part of the Slavic Art Forum "Golden Knight" and it brings together authors, scientists and publicists who write in the Russian language, and whose works correspond to the slogan “For moral ideas, for the advancement of human soul”.
This year, the Organising Committee of the 11th International Slavic Literary Forum “Golden Knight“ received 188 literary and scientific works and publicist writings
from the Russian Federation, China, the USA, Italy, the Republic of Serbia, Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine.The Literary Forum was organised by the International Forum “Golden Knight”, the Union of Russian Writers, Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, as well as the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Laureates will be presented with the awards at a ceremony on 15 October in Moscow. Due to the coronavirus pandemic travel restrictions, awards will only be presented to authors from the Russian Federation, while the other award-winners will receive them at a later date.
The Russian edition of “The Fall of the Night Falcon” has already found its place in military schools and academies, important educational, scientific and cultural institutions of the Russian Federation, scientific and intellectual circles, as well as among the general readership in the Russian-speaking area.
