Minister Vulin: YUCOM does not express its own opinion
"Our pacifists only shoot at opponents of the KLA and NATO. YUCOM and other Hague NGOs never work alone and never say what they have not been ordered to say. This is not YUKOM’s statement; this is a message from embassies and ambassadors about who they would not like to see in the new Government. It is nice to know that I have not changed in all these years of being in power. They never wanted to see me in the Parliament, in the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, or in the Government. My removal from office would be a nice gift for both Thaçiand the ambassadors, it is a pity that the progress of the armed forces is so visible, but my withdrawal would be even more valuable," said the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin in Pešter, where he is attending preparations for the exercise "Joint Action 2020". Minister Vulin’s statement is a reaction to YUCOM’S appeal to Prime Minister-Designate Ana Brnabić to omit him from the proposal of future ministers.
"For me, it is more important that the Government does not change its policy regarding neutrality, its attitude towards Serbs outside Serbia, its attitude towards Russia, China, social justice policy, than for me to be a minister, and YUCOM will not have a say when it comes to me or the Government's policy. I do not hate anyone, which could not be said for the Hague NGO," Minister Vulin said.
