Gold medals for military athletes Ćulum and Kukolj in the European Cup in Dubrovnik



Military athletes Žarko Ćulum and Aleksandar Kukolj won gold medals in the European Judo Cup in Dubrovnik.
Kukolj took first place by ensuring victories in four matches, and he also competed in less than 100kg category. Žarko Ćulum won a gold medal after winning three matches in the +100 kg weight category.  

Anja Obradović fought well but did not win any medals.

The Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin sent congratulatory messages to Ćulum and Kukolj for winning gold medals.
The European Judo Cup in Dubrovnik is the first international competition that our military athletes participated in since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Civilians Žarko Ćulum, Aleksandar Kukolj and Ana Obradović are members of the Sports Unit of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
