After finishing school and appropriate military training with weapons, students will be admitted to professional military service as NCOs at the following duty stations - Belgrade, Lađevci, Niš, Batajnica, Zuce, Pančevo, Novi Sad, Jakovo, Stari Banovci, Kačarevo, Užice and Sombor.
Non-commissioned officer posts in the Air Force and Air Defence offer the opportunity to work with the most modern equipment in the world. Only professional servicemen have this privilege.
The NCO status in the Air Force and Air Defence provides an opportunity for permanent employment, continuous improvement and career advancement, accelerated retirement, guaranteed health care and regular income.
In order to strengthen the NCO staff in the Air Force and Air Defence, in 2019, the first generation of non-commissioned officers who graduated from the Secondary Military School was admitted, and the training of professional soldiers is regularly conducted at the NCO Training Centre which also helps to recruit the staff. Part of the staff is recruited from civilian structures, so student scholarships are one of the ways to recruit new staff.
Constant opportunities for advancement and training, working with the most modern equipment and systems that are available only to persons in the Serbian Armed Forces, but also a good financial status that improves every year are just some of the reasons why young people choose military profession as a life choice for a secure future.
The scholarship is awarded to a student on the condition that he or she agrees to join the Serbian Armed Forces and stay in the service for at least twice the duration of the scholarship.
The competition is open until 30 September 2020.
