Statement
With regard to the news published by some media about the dismissal of the heads of some clinics of the Military Medical Academy, the Ministry of Defence states that organizational changes are underway in the entire military health care in accordance with the needs of the Armed Forces and military and civilian patients, which will include a number of personnel changes.
No one will lose their job, and the allocation and selection of personnel is an internal matter of the system, management and command, and is based exclusively on the needs of the service. This is not and will not be influenced by the writing of the media, to which we leave the right to deal with politics.
We ask the media to check the truthfulness of the news before it is published, in accordance with journalistic ethics, because by publishing unverified news, they knowingly deceive the public and harm the reputation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
