Minister Vulin: Supreme Commander and President of Serbia did not give in
“Aleksandar Vučić has shown that small peoples can have great statesmen. He showed both courage and wisdom. Faced with pressures and force he did not abandon the interests of Serbia and he did not recognise in any way the false state. The negotiations started with a request for mutual recognition and ended with a “mini Schengen” which will assist economy, particularly to the Serbs to the south of the River of Ibar in their everyday life. Priština has undertaken an obligation to resolve property conflicts and ensure respect for the property of our Church which is what we have been fighting for since the first day of the negotiations in Brussels. Vučić won, almost took, more than it could be expected especially after general attacks on him and request for recognition of “Kosovo”. Economically strong Serbia will be capable of protecting the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and Serbian Orthodox Church and wherever the Serbs live. The Supreme Commander of the armed forces and President of Serbia did not give in, and Serbia has someone and something to be proud of” stated Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin who, at invitation of his Russian colleague Sergey Shoygu, is staying in Moscow where, as a guest of honour, he participated in Joint meeting of ministers of defence of states participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States, member states of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and Common Security Treaty Organisation.
