Three Gold and One Bronze Medals for Shooters of “Akademac” Shooting Club at the Championship of Serbia
Male team of the Shooting Club “Akademac” of the Military Academy won the first place at the Serbian Shooting Championship held in Novi Sad thus becoming the champion of Serbia for the fifth time in a row in 25 metres centre-fire pistol event.
The title of state champion in individual competition was taken by military officer Dimitrije Grgić (centre-fire pistol event) and Milenko Sebić (small calibre rifle-lying down).
The bronze medal was won by Lieutenant Petar Nikolić.
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin sent a letter of congratulations to the shooters of “Akademac” Shooting Club on the medals won, in which he points out that their results confirm in the best possible way the values of sports in the Serbian Armed Forces, to which a lot of importance is given.
At the Championship in Serbia, Sergeant Major Saša Mudrinić and Alina Sebić were only one step away from winning a medal taking the the fourth place.
The state championship marked the end of the season of national competitions of the Shooting Association of Serbia.
