Members of Serbian Armed Forces Equipped with the State-of-the-art Equipment
Besides equipping with the state-of-the-art arms, the Serbian Armed Forces attach great importance to equipping soldiers with the best and the highest quality protective equipment. Members of the Serbian Armed Forces are equipped with the state-of-the-art protective equipment produced by our intelligence, national knowledge and manufactured in line with the highest world criteria.
Modern package of protective ballistic equipment T-19P is intended for members of Infantry units of the Serbian Armed Forces for ballistic protection, and for easier wearing and combat use of parts of arms, military equipment and combat resources.
Producer of protective ballistic equipment package T-19P, developed by the Military Technical Institute, is “Jumko” Company from Vranje.
The package consists of 39 elements and contains a ballistic vest with ballistic plates, helmet kit with Picatinny rails, opto-electronic devices carrier and ballistic vizier, tactical gloves and tactical glasses. Also, the set includes a water container with a bag, elbow and knee pads, system for carrying personal weapons and tactical T-shirts.
Parts of the package of protective ballistic equipment also include different types of textile holsters, plastic modular holsters for pistol and a bag for carrying the equipment package.
In comparison to former solutions, the greatest advantage of the package of protective ballistic equipment T-19P is the increased degree of ballistic protection of the plates, then incorporated carrier of opto-electronic devices, integrated Picatinny rails and added ballistic vizier on the helmet which can be detached if needed, and introduction of plastic holsters for semi-automatic pistol and platforms for their installation and carrying – on belt, chest and leg.
Great attention is paid to the weight of the equipment. The mass of the package for the largest size is up to 16 kg, mass of ballistic plate is less than 2.7 kg, and mass of the helmet kit with ballistic vizier is less than 2.8 kg. Apart from that, the applied design solutions enabled functionality, ergonomics and comfort during the use of package elements and accompanying resources.
This package of protective ballistic equipment integrates all equipment in one kit assigned to every member of infantry units.
The Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces will continue taking care of the needs of their members and equip them with the best and the highest quality protective equipment, in order to enable unhindered and successful execution of tasks assigned.
