Minister Vulin: The attempt to create "Greater Albania" cannot end without great evil

The biggest security threat in the region is the attempt to create “Greater Albania.” I repeat this and it is constantly being confirmed. The attempt to create “Greater Albania” cannot only affect Serbia; it will also affect North Macedonia and Montenegro. It is something that cannot end without a great evil," said the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, on the morning show on Pink Television, when asked to comment on what Priština is telling us by the decision of the president of the so-called Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, to introduce a new decoration that will bear the name of Adem Demaçi, as well as a new video of Albanian propagandists with maps of "Greater Albania", which also include parts of Sandžak.

"Serbia is not doing this; Serbia is not asking for someone's territory. And again the international community is silent. That is what scares me. These are the old Shiptars’ plans, it has always been like that, we know how to deal with that. But the international community is silent about it while at the same time it keeps on about peace, reconciliation, agreement, looking to the future. And what is this? Is this the future we need to look to? Is "Greater Albania" the future we need to reconcile ourselves to? Is that our bright future, to create "Greater Albania?", asked Minister Vulin.

Commenting on the statement of the future US ambassador to Germany about the NATO attack on the FRY, Minister Vulin said that there are a lot of people in the world who are thinking, who understand what happened and what was done. "In the era of Islamic terrorism, Islamic State, not a small number of people take a step back and say - we introduced the "El Mujahideen" battalion in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first Christian heads were not ritually severed in front of the cameras in Iraq and Syria, but on Mount Ozren in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the members of the "El Mujahideen" battalion. I am grateful to Mr Ambassador for what he said because it is true, but let's be realistic, politics is not made up of individual statements, the policy of the state he represents as ambassador is not like that and I do not believe that it will change much, but it is good to be able to hear something different," said the Minister of Defence.
