Minister Vulin: Republika Srpska is not a gift; it was established as a Serbian response to the beginning of a repeated Jasenovac genocide
"The Serbs did not get anything in Dayton, they fought for Republika Srpska, and Serbia stood by them and as an internationally recognized state, it was able to assume the role of the guarantor and guardian of the Dayton Agreement. Izetbegović is a sad example of disrespect for the Dayton Agreement, but also a leader of politicians who believe that Republika Srpska should be destroyed. Republika Srpska is not a gift, it was established as a Serbian response to the beginning of a repeated Jasenovac genocide“, said the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, responding to the new attacks of Bakir Izetbegović on the Dayton Agreement and Republika Srpska.
"There can be no successful Bosnia and Herzegovina without a successful Republika Srpska. Any attempt to nullify the Dayton Agreement and annul Republika Srpska would have unforeseeable consequences. Izetbegović does not respect the Constitution of his country and thus sets an example to everyone else. As long as the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) perceives Republika Srpska as an enemy, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be neither a successful nor a functional state, "said Minister Vulin.
