Congratulatory message of the Minister of Defence on Aviation Day
I congratulate all members of Aviation on the 2nd August – Aviation Day.
By nurturing more than a century long tradition, through daily efforts you prove how valuable and promising the development of Aviation is and you manage to implement the modern and newly created traditional values in the tradition of your arms of service in the right way.
Outstanding execution of tasks in exercises, exceptional readiness and professionalism that you have shown at numerous events, as well as achieving visible results in professional training f your members place you in the same league as the most modern units of foreign armed forces.
I congratulate you on your Day, and I am convinced that the efforts that the state is investing in equipping Serbian Aviation with the most modern combat assets will contribute to a better execution of tasks and that you will justify the epithet “elite arms of service” of our armed forces by executing assigned tasks in a professional manner in the coming period.
