The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Sergey Shoygu, awards a medal to the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin



The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoygu, awarded the Medal of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation to the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, for personal contribution to the organization of the Military Parade in Moscow marking the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War.
The President of the Republic and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, attended the Victory Parade as a personal guest of the President and the Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Putin.

Seventy-five members of the Guard of the Serbian Armed Forces participated in the Victory Parade held on 24 June this year on Moscow’s Red Square. The number of Serbian participants in the Parade symbolizes the number of years since the triumph over fascism in the Second World War.
