Minister Vulin: Members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade are capable of overcoming the hardest obstacles and they are always at disposal to their country



Today, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin visited members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade who are conducting climbing training in the area of the Tara Mountain.
 
That is the most demanding part of the training during which the members of Special Operations Battalion the “Gryphons” and Special Operations Battalion the “Hawks”, carry out the final segment – free climbing training for climbing groups.
 
Minister Vulin underlined that all members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade underwent very demanding and highly complex training.
 
- Today they are carrying out climbing training, using recently acquired equipment which is at the very top of the world. All our special brigade members have to be equipped just like they colleagues in the most developed armed forces are. Not a single part of our country and not a single capability of our armed forces can go unmonitored, and without protection and they cannot but be advanced – Minister Vulin stressed.
 
According to him, members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade are special kind of people.
 
- These are men capable of overcoming the most challenging obstacles, and who are always at disposal to their country, and always there for all the citizens of our country. As much as we invest in the armed forces, that much we can say that we have a free and safe Serbia – Minister Vulin stated.
 
Speaking about the training, Command Sergeant Major in the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, Sergeant Major Milisav Milosavljević, stressed today that a part of members of that unit was conducting climbing training focused on overcoming the area and obstacles of impassable terrain, with the topic – free climbing by a climbing group.
 
- Our unit executes special tasks, and this is one of the segments of specific training when it comes to climbing. Over the course of 12 days, with the members of the unit we have carried out complete content of climbing training, and today we are having the final part of that training, during which we will go through the area, which will last from six to eight hours, by means of climbing or descending in hardly passable terrain – Sergeant Major Milosavljević explained.
 
The visit was also attended by Commander of the 72nde Special Operations Brigade General Miroslav Talijan.
