Minister Vulin: Serbia must respond to force with the force of law




"Hooligans and politicians who incited them rampaged in Belgrade last night because those who had broken into the building of Radio Television of Serbia with chainsaws were never punished, because those who had used their political function to break the door of the House of the National Assembly were never punished, because those who had organized protests during the state of emergency were never punished, because no one was ever punished for stopping the traffic in Belgrade and harassing peaceful citizens. The state of Serbia has to prove that it is ruled by law, and not by thugs and politicians who can only enter the House of the National Assembly by force”, said the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin.
 
"Either every politician who called for violence and every thug who destroyed Belgrade last night will be found and punished, or there is no democracy in Serbia. Serbia must respond to force with the force of law”, said Minister Vulin.
