Minister Vulin: Why doesn’t Minister Šekerinska pose for a photograph under the swastika?
"Being photographed under the flag of the so-called KLA and saying that it is unimportant iconography is like being photographed under the flag of the Independent State of Croatia and saying that it is a retro fashion trend," said the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin today, reacting to the photo of the Minister of Defence of Northern Macedonia, Radmila Šekerinska, in front of the symbol of the so-called KLA, and her comment on the photo, "the most important thing is whether politicians serve the citizens, iconography is not a benchmark of good governance, serving the people is."
He pointed out that "posing under the symbols of terrorists who are indisputably guilty of killing hundreds of civilians, women and children, and describing this as serving the citizens is no less hypocritical than being photographed under the flag of the Islamic State and talking about religious tolerance."
- If the passage of time is a sufficient justification to forget everything and to think that the flags under which atrocities were committed are no longer important, then I wonder why Minister Šekerinska would not pose for a photograph under the swastika and explain that 75 years have passed since the armed conflicts and that now is the time for good governance - said Minister Vulin.
