I congratulate all the members of the Guard on 6th May – the Day of their unit.
Exactly 190 years ago today, on St. George’s Day, the Guard was established by Order of Prince Miloš Obrenović.
By professionally performing tasks at an extremely high level, nurturing the tradition of your ancestors, you represent the Serbian Armed Forces in an admirable way, but also the entire country both within our borders and beyond, proving that you deserve the epithet of an elite unit of the Serbian Armed Forces.
I congratulate you on the anniversary, convinced that you will continue to contribute to the successful creation of modern and functional armed forces, wishing you to continue being an active factor in the process of new developments in the country and the region.
