Continuing a 190-year-long tradition of the Serbian Guard, and thanks to the exceptional expertise and professionalism, you have gained the reputation of an elite unit. You have preserved the well-earned reputation for almost two centuries, by contributing to the successful creation of modern and functional armed forces.
By performing tasks professionally and constantly improving every year, you significantly improve the military protocol for the needs of the state and military leadership, thus contributing to the preservation of the reputation of both the military and the Republic of Serbia.
Only the best units of the Serbian Armed Forces can be awarded the highest decorations of the Republic of Serbia. Members of the Guard proudly and honourably wear the decorations for exceptional merits and achieved results in all fields of life and work.
I congratulate you on the holiday, convinced that you will professionally perform the assigned tasks, develop the operational capability of your unit and prove and demonstrate, in the coming period, who can be a member of our oldest elite unit.
