Minister Vulin: Zoran Milanović raised hope that institutional rejection of Ustasha ideology will finally take place in Croatia
"The refusal of the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, to appear next to Ustasha symbols raises the hope that institutional rejection of the Ustasha ideology will finally take place in Croatia and that Croatia will stop seeking justifications for the crimes of the Independent State of Croatia and laying wreaths at the Ustasha’s graves in Bleiburg," said the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, today.
The civil war in Croatia during the 1990s will never be viewed in the same way by the Serbs and Croats, but the genocide against Serbs, Jews and Roma committed by the Ustasha, and 20,000 children slaughtered in Jasenovac do not allow room for different views or interpretations. I hope that others will follow Milanović's example - Minister Vulin said.
