Minister Vulin: Mrs Fajon should be so kind as not to hinder us, it would be of immense help
"We expected that Mrs Fajon would ask the European Parliament for Serbia to be equalized with the Member States in terms of the volume and amount of assistance. Instead, the Rapporteur for Serbia, the Slovenian MEP gave us a lesson on democracy and explained why we should not manage our borders,“ the Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin said today in response to a statement by MEP Tanja Fajon "that a complete closure of Serbia's borders poses a major problem".
Minister Vulin pointed out that she should have spared us her invaluable advice and used her great knowledge and authority to enlighten the EU Member States, which did close their borders. She could have taught them in particular to at least be in solidarity with each other, since they have already banned us from buying medical equipment from the European Union.
"If no one listens to Mrs Fajon in the European Union and if she cannot do anything to help us, we would be grateful if she stopped hindering us. It would be of immense help,“ Minister Vulin said.
