Minister Vulin: I ask senior citizens to stay at home in this serious situation
The Minister of Defence urged all the citizens of Serbia today to be disciplined and to comply with all the Government’s measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic caused by the coronavirus. During the TV Pink's morning programme where he was a guest, Minister Vulin specifically urged elderly people, those over 65, not to leave their flats and houses, so as not to expose themselves and others to possible infection.
"This is a fight for our parents, for our elderly. We want to save their lives, „Minister Vulin said. "Senior citizens, please stay at home; listen to your country, for the sake of your children. If it is not important to you, you are important to us. It is important to us that you are alive and well, "Minister Vulin said to the elderly.
He expressed his appreciation of the young people who organized themselves and are providing assistance to the elderly, primarily supplying them with food, thus confirming solidarity between generations.
"Our dearest and oldest, listen to your country, as you have always been there for your country. Don't leave us now, "Minister Vulin appealed to the elderly, urging them to stay at home and telling them that there are people who will take care of them.
