Meeting of President Vučić with representatives of health institutions regarding the prevention of coronavirus
There are no coronavirus-infected in Serbia and there are no fatalities as a result of the virus, Serbian President and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić said at a press conference held today at the Secretariat General Office after meeting with representatives of all respective health and other institutions participating in the prevention of the spread of coronavirus.
At the conference, the President and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces emphasized that comprehensive measures for prevention and response in case of the occurrence of coronavirus in Serbia were agreed upon at the meeting, and they include, among other things, increased number of medical teams at major border crossings. He added that we have prepared all our facilities and institutions for potential patients and that the military and police stand ready to provide further assistance if needed.
The Serbian leadership has chosen an approach that implies complete openness and providing full access to all available information about everything to the citizens, said the President and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Vučić, stressing that the site of the Ministry of Health will publish twice a day, at 08:00 and 16:00 hours, all information regarding the coronavirus.
