Congratulatory Message from the Minister of Defence on the Day of the University of Defence
I extend to all members of the University of Defence my best wishes as they celebrate 24th February – the Day of the University of Defence.
On that day in 2011, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a Decision establishing the University of Defence in Belgrade. Respecting the traditions and holidays of military higher education institutions, this date has been established as the Day of the University of Defence.
In the past year, following the defence system reforms. as well as the modernisation of the Serbian Armed Forces, through the results achieved in the field of military education, you have managed to maintain a high position in the education system of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the reputation you have outside the borders of our country.
I congratulate you on your holiday wishing you to continue fulfilling the assigned obligations and tasks in the field of military education in the forthcoming period, and to give full contribution to the successful development of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces with your results in the teaching process and scientific research.
