Minister Vulin Laid Wreath at “Minsk-Hero City” Memorial
Today, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin laid a wreath at Minsk Hero-City Memorial and paid homage to the victims of Nazi terror during the occupation in the Second World War. The ceremony was attended by Belarusian Minister of Defence Major General Victor Khrenin. After that, the ministers of Serbia and Belarus toured Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.

The Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War is opened for visitors on 22nd October 1944 in Minsk. In 2010, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko passed a decision to build a new museum building. Official opening ceremony took place on 2nd July 2014 in the presence of presidents and supreme commanders of armed forces of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.
The museum houses 10 exhibition halls and the Victory hall. Museum collection possesses more than 154,000 museum pieces, scientific and historical material.
