Chief of General Staff Visiting North Macedonia
Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović stays in official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia during which he will discuss bilateral defence cooperation with the highest officials of that country.
Today, General Mojsilović had a meeting in Skopje with the Chief of General Staff of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia. Lieutenant General Vasko Đurčinovski, upon whose invitation he stays in that country.
At the meeting, they talked about the current security situation in the region and world, the experiences with employment of military capacities during the migrant crisis, and about opportunities for the enhancement of bilateral military cooperation in the fields of mutual interest. It was proposed to the host to shift the focus of the cooperation in the forthcoming period on joint activities of the Serbian Armed Forces and Army of the Republic of North Macedonia in domain of training and joint exercises.
In the continuation of the visit to the Republic of North Macedonia, the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces will meet President of the Republic of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, after which he will visit the Centre for Pilot Training and a Special Forces unit of Macedonian Army.
