On this day, back in 1879 the first issue of magazine “Warrior” was published, whose tradition you have successfully continued through the effective work of magazine “Odbrana” keeping track of contemporary developments in the field of written and electronic media and information, and you manage to firmly maintain the high position both in media and publishing spheres of our country and beyond.
I congratulate this holiday to you confident that you will in the future continue keeping track of modern trends of journalism by providing timely information on activities of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, and through your publishing activities, and that you will on the path of reforms, give your contribution to further prosperity and development of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.
