Minister Vulin at the reception on the occasion of handover of the NATO Contact Point Embassy
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, accompanied by Major General Petar Cvetković, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, attended this evening reception on the occasion of handover of the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Belgrade.
Namely, as of January 2020, the Dutch Embassy assumes the role of NATO Contact Point Embassy from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway within the joint mandate of the two embassies.
On that occasion, the audience was addressed by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia Jørn Eugen Gjelstad, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Serbia Gilles Arnout Beschoor Plug, Mr James Mackey, Head of the Office of Euro-Atlantic and Global Partnership in the Political Affairs and Security Policy Division at NATO HQ and Mr Branimir Filipović, Assistant Minister for Security Policy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
The reception was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, diplomatic and military diplomatic corps, institutions and civil society organisation.
