Expert talks on cooperation with the US Armed Forces
Brigadier General John Boyd, Head of Partnering, Security Cooperation, and Weapons of Mass Destruction of the United States European Command (EUCOM) is on a visit to Serbia for expert talks on bilateral military cooperation.
At the beginning of his visit to our country, General Boyd was received by General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces. During the meeting, they discussed the previous military cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the United States and plans for its further enhancement.
General Mojsilović emphasised that the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the US Armed Forces is intense and substantial, adding that US support and joint exercises contribute to improving the operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
During the visit, in the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, expert talks were held with the US delegation on a wide range of joint activities and opportunities for the development of bilateral military cooperation acknowledging the commitment of the Republic of Serbia to cooperate with all states and alliances in areas of mutual interest as a militarily neutral state.
During his stay in Serbia, General Boyd will visit the Base South and the Memorial Room of the Army in Niš.
