Paratrooper veterans sent a letter of support to the Minister of Defense
Parachute Veterans Club of the 63rd Parachute Brigade, “Arhistratig” (“Archistratege”) sent a letter of support to the Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin today, in gratitude for the decision to re-establish the 63rd Parachute Brigade.
“Words are not enough to describe our feelings and excitement when we learned that a grave injustice inflicted on the 63rd Parachute Brigade by its rescinding in 2006 and its sinking to the level of Battalion was corrected on Prepodobni Sava Osvećeni (Saint Sabbas the Sanctified)” reads the letter of support of the “Arhistratig” Parachute Club.
“It is with great pleasure that we received the news of the re-establishment of the heroic 63rd Parachute Brigade and 72nd Special Operations Brigade, and we are most pleased by the fact that we have got rid of a foreign factor that we believe will never decide in our name again,” said parachute veterans, convinced that these two fraternal Brigades, as they once did, will be the first to rise in protection of the homeland.
“And we are ready to respond at any time and help when and where we are needed,” said parachute veterans in a letter of support to Minister Vulin, signed by the president of the “Arhistratig” Parachute Club, retired Colonel Milorad Đošić, a pilot and a flight instructor.
