Meeting of the Chief of General Staff with New KFOR Commander
Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović met today in Belgrade KFOR Commander Major General Michele Risi.
During the meeting, they talked about current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and activities undertaken for the purpose of monitoring the situation on the ground and maintaining and enhancing peace and security in the area of Kosovo and Metohija.General Mojsilović stressed that KFOR is the only legitimate armed formation in Kosovo and Metohija and that, as such, it is the most responsible for the security of the population in the overall territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija.
This was the first meeting with the newly appointed KFOR Commander Major General Michele Risi, who assumed the position of Commander of International Forces in Kosovo and Metohija in November this year.
