Ambassador MacLeod Visited the Military Health Department
Today, on the occasion of holding Seminar on War Surgery and Toxicology for members of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Serbia Sian MacLeod visited Military Health Department and the Military Medical Academy.
Head of the Military Health Department Brigadier General Uglješa Jović and Head of the MMA Colonel Miroslav Vukosavljević MD familiarised Ambassador MacLeod with capacities and organisation of the medical service and they emphasised that bilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom in the field of military health was very intensive.
According to General Jovičić, cooperation with the United Kingdom is of great significance, since it is reflected in numerous activities such as participation in joint exercises, courses and international military medical conferences.
The Seminar on war surgery and toxicology is being held for the third time at the MMA, and during the next four days, 11 attenders will have an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with the doctors at the MMA in those specific branches of medicine.
