Minister Vulin: When Serbia is stable there are no conflicts at the Balkans

- President Vučić is leading bold, well balanced and Serbian politics. And for all the moves he makes as Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, his primary consideration is how this will affect Serbia. Every exercise and every demonstration of weapons, preparedness, combat readiness and discipline is a message to both friends and foes. Let everyone decide for themselves what their position is and let everyone decide what message they wish to open. Everyone decide for themselves whether they are friends or foes, Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin said in his today’s TV appearance on the morning program on TV PRVA and commenting on the reactions to the “Slovenski štit 2019” (“Slavic Shield 2019”) exercise by the Serbian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

- Friends are genuinely rejoicing, since it indicates that Serbia will be even stronger and even more stable. President Vučić is the only leader in the Balkans pursuing a peaceful policy, I believe that, and he truly does it sincerely, believing that it is good for both the Serbian people and all other nations. Unfortunately, I am not sure that he has true interlocutors in front of him every time, but as a leader pursuing a peaceful policy, he knows that the Serbian Armed Forces are the guarantor of a free, independent and secure Serbia. When Serbia is stable and strong, when it can protect Serbs in the region, regardless of where they may live, there is no conflict in the Balkans. Therefore, all the friends were glad, and those who do not consider themselves friends, I believe were not very pleased, said Minister Vulin.
