Delegation of the Public Relations Department visiting the UK Ministry of Defense
A delegation from the Ministry of Defense’s Public Relations Department, led by the Head of the PR Department, Colonel MihailoZogović, is visiting the Ministry of Defense of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
During the first day of the visit, members of the delegation visited the UK Ministry of Defense’s Communications in London, where they were met by Brigadier General Peter Monteith. During the meeting, new forms of public relations co-operation were discussed and the organization of affairs at the Ministry of Defense and the United Kingdom Armed Forcesin this area was presented.The second day of the delegation’s visit to Halton showed the potentials and modes of operation of the Joint Information Center, which provides training in the areas of information, media and psychological operations, as well as the organization, tasks and part of the activities of 77 Brigade of the British Armed Forces, which is responsible for information, media and psychological operations.
- We will endeavor to develop cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom in the coming period with the aim of strengthening our capabilities, primarily in the field of media and information operations – said Colonel Zogović at the end of the visit.
