Opening of Course for Duties in Finance Service Bodies
The seventh course for duties in bodies of the Finance Service at battalion-brigade level was opened today in the Military Academy. The course was organised by Finance Department of the Military Academy, with the support of Sector for Budget and Finances.
The gathered were addressed by Head of Budget Department in the Budget and Finances Sector of the Ministry of Defence Colonel Milan Milunović PhD who pointed out that the course was intended for revision and adoption of new knowledge of the Finance Service members in the field of material and financial operation in the Serbian Armed Forces. He stressed that the Budget and Finances Sector, as responsible expert body for financial function, had recognised the importance of continuous professional advancement of Finance Service personnel for the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and that it took measures to organise a similar professional advancement each year for the cadre of Finance Service through different forms of courses and training.Programme of the Course, which is going to last until 27th September, encompasses the topics of material and financial operation in the armed forces, financial and material accounting in the armed forces, financial planning, execution of budget, salaries, allowances and other emoluments in the armed forces.
