Visit from Adjutant General of Ohio National Guard
Today, in Belgrade, Chief of General Staff of Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović met Adjutant General of Ohio National Guard Major General John Harris, who is, with his delegation, staying in several days long visit to the Republic of Serbia.
At the meeting, the results of cooperation carried out in the previous period were summarised, and several words were dedicated to further development of cooperation in the field of training, education, aviation and aviation medicine, chaplain service, and development of NCO corps.
It was jointly established that the successful thirteen years long cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces with Ohio National Guard, which is being implemented in the framework of state partnership between Serbia and US, considerably contributes to development of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries.
Generals Mojsilović and Harris agreed that successful cooperation in domain of military-to-military activities had been an excellent foundation for expanding the cooperation and raising it to the level of activities of civilian-to-military and civilian-to-civilian cooperation.
General Harris was also received today by Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and during the stay in Serbia, the delegation of Ohio National Guard will visit the Military Medical Academy, Army Command and it will attend the ceremonial promotion of catets into the rank of second lieutenant.
In the segment of the visit that has been conducted so far, General Harris talked to President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić and he participated in International rouond table „Serbia-US relations” held in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
