CISM European Conference 2019
CISM European Conference 2019, with the participation of heads of delegations and delegates from 24 CISM member states from Europe, is being held from 10th to 13th September in Yerevan in the Republic of Armenia.
The Republic of Serbia is represented at the Conference by Brigadier General Sniša Radović, Head of Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to CISM.
Newly appointed heads of delegations of CISM member states from Europe are to be presented at the Conference as well as current decisions of CISM Board of Directors. The participants will also reconsider strategic goals and Business Plan of European branch of CISM for 2020 and analyse the work of CISM sport committees and commissions in the current year.Another topic of the Conference is going to be the organisation and participation of European CISM member states in sport event “7th World Military Games” which is taking place from 18th to 27th October 2019 in the city of Wuhan in the People’s Republic of China, and about the candidacy of member states for the following world military games in 2023 and for hosting CISM European Conference in 2020. The agenda also includes the enhancement of organisation of competitions in para-sports.
One of the Conference topics are opportunities for cooperation at regional level and organisation of military sports events in the period to come, as well as the continuation of organisation of sports camps and joint preparations for international sport competitions.
Organisation of “4th CISM World Winter Games 2021” to be held in FR Germany is going to be presented as well, while the host country for CISM European Conference 2021 was selected.
