The Battle of Ivankovac that took place on 18 August 1805, headed by Milenko Stojković, is one of the greatest and most significant victories of Karađorđe’s fellow liberators in the entire course of the First Serbian Uprising. It is at the same time a brilliant example of a tactically well planned and executed military operation.
