Agreements in the Field of Defence Signed with Representatives of France
Today, in the framework of the visit from the French President Emmanuel Macron to the Republic of Serbia, five agreements in the field of arms and military equipment were signed in the Palace of Serbia. The five agreements make part of 22 documents that were signed on that occasion.
In the presence of President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and Vice President of MBDA company, Didier Philippe exchanged Framework Agreement and relevant Purchase orders for the procurement of Mistral 3 AD system and its joint integration into Pasars system.The Framework Agreement and Purchase Order No.1 with MBDA were signed by Vice President of the company Didier Philippe and Commercial Director of “Jugoimport-SDPR” Aleksandar Lijaković, while the Head of Division in Department for Procurement and Sales of Material Resources Sector, Colonel Dragan Panić signed it in his capacity of present and consenting individual. Purchase Order No. 2 was also signed by Didier Philippe and Aleksandar Lijaković, while Director of the Military Technical Institute of the Material Resources Sector, Colonel Bojan Pavković signed it in in his capacity of present and consenting individual.
The two sides also concluded a Technical Agreement between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Defence of the French Republic on Procurement of short range AD system from MBDA company. The Technical Agreement was signed by State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence of the French Republic Geneviéve Darrieussecq and Acting Assistant of the Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović PhD.
Among the documents that were signed today, there is also Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and Tales Company, which was signed by Country Director of the sub region of Central Europe and Günther Trummer and Acting Assistant of the Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović PhD. Also, another document was signed today, namely Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and Safran company. The Memorandum was signed by Vice President of Defence Sector for Ground Vehicles Lorraine Deur and Acting Assistant of the Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović PhD.
Memorandum of Understanding between Economic Subject “Prva Petoletka – Namenska” Trstenik and Company “Iksblu” is another document that was signed. The Memorandum was signed by Sales Manager of the company for South East Europe Enzo Aldrovandi and Carlos Maciado Da Silva Lopes, and on the side of “Prva Petoletka – Namenska” the document was signed by Anđelka Atanasković as a member of delegation and CEO and Saša Batoćanin as a member of the delegation.
