Meeting of the State Secretary Živković with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela




 
State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Aleksandar Živković met today Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Cooperation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Ramon Antonio Gordils Montes in Belgrade.
 
State Secretary Živković pointed out that the Republic of Serbia appreciated the principled policy of Venezuela regarding unilateral proclamation of independence of so called “Kosovo”, as well as the support rendered by Venezuela in international institutions.
 
He also stressed the importance of establishment and development of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest having in mind that the bilateral relations between our two countries are friendly and unburdened by open issues.
 
Montesa stated that Venezuela perceived Serbia as a sincere friend and that both countries requested that the international law is respected and he added that, regardless of geographical distance, the two countries should aspire towards establishment of mechanisms for development of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
