Both sides are satisfied with the visit of the Belarusian Defence Minister
After a two-day visit to the Republic of Serbia, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov, was seen off at the Nikola Tesla Airport, by Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the results of the visit during which they discussed about the further enhancement of the state and military cooperation between Serbia and Belarus and specific activities that will enhance the ever-expanding cooperation between the two armies.
At the demonstration of the skill levels for conducting the Slavic Brotherhood exercise, the participants confirmed their readiness for joint defence and anti-terrorist actions within the multinational forces. In the area of military-technical cooperation, the two sides are duly fulfilling their commitments undertaken for the overhaul of the MiG 29 aircraft, while the plans for expanding the cooperation are related to the areas of military education, CBRN protection and joint performance in peacekeeping operations under the United Nations flag.
