Awarding members of the 37th Motorized Brigade with military commemorative medals
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the defence against the NATO aggression against the FRY, members of the former 37th motorised brigade have been awarded military commemorative medals at the Military Club in Kraljevo, today.

Addressing the audience, General Cvetković pointed out that “the sacrifice was large and priceless, but such was also the vow that the members of the 37th Motorised Brigade fulfilled together with other Yugoslav Army units”.

The retired General Diković said that this was “another day for sorrow, but also a day when we should be proud of those who, fighting to preserve and defend the country, have left their lives in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija”.
During the NATO aggression, the 37th Motorised Brigade lost 60 of its heroes, and 186 were wounded. In memory of them, members of the 37th Motorised Brigade raised a memorial monument to the Heroes of the 37th Motorised Brigade at the barracks in Raška, on 16th June 2000.
