Exercise of the Mixed Artillery Brigade “Fire Jump 2019” (“Vatreni skok 2019”)
Members of the First Cannon-Howitzer Division of the Mixed Artillery Brigade from Niš performed the final live firing at “Pasuljanske livade” Military Complex within the framework of the tactical exercise “Fire Jump 2019” (“Vatreni skok 2019”). That is how their several-day long mobile camping that started on 27 May, when they left „Mija Stanimirović” barracks, finished.
Mobile camping took place along the direction Niš-Rtanj-Military complex “Pasuljanske livade”. Several tactical exercises were conducted on the Rtanj Mountain. The Artillery were trained in assuming the elements of the combat positions, capturing fire positions, moving from one position to another, and members of the 69 Logistics Battalion timely and regularly provided food, water supply, health care and technical support.During the stay at the “Pasuljanske livade” Military Complex, members of the First Cannon-Howitzer Division, in the course of tactical field exercises, implemented training exercises from inserted 20 millimeter barrels, and at the end of the “Fire Jump” a tactical exercise was carried out including live artillery firing from 152-millimeter cannon-howitzers and 130 millimeter cannons.
This year as part of the mobile camping, training of permanent and reserve units was integrated, and the permanent units were manned by reserve officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers.
